INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENT APPLICANTS, PARENTS, AND SCHOOL OFFICIALS

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
April 15th is the deadline for application

Applicant must be:
-Resident of Marin County
-Graduating high school senior
-Able to demonstrate interest in horticulture, landsacaping, conservation and the environment or related fields
-Pursuing further studies in the above at the college level

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Forms and instructions may be obtained from high school Counseling/Career Center offices.

Application forms shall include:
1. Transcipt
2. Three letters of recommendation with at least one from a mentor or supervisor in field of interest.
3. Brief personal statement detailing your interest and experience in horticulture, landscaping, conservation or related field
4. Resume of school and community activities

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Applications will be screened, verified as deemed appropriate and competitively evaluated. Criteria for evaluation shall include the demonstrated diligence, responsibility, skill and interest in his or her field of study.
