Robert Mooney, Landscape and Facilities Manager

Robert joined MAGC in the summer of 2011 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in landscape management to the Center, from running his own firm, working at College of Marin, the Town of Fairfax and Skywalker Ranch.  After 25 years in the film business, he completed the Marin Master Gardener program and re-immersed himself in the world of horticulture he loves.  He and his family live in Fairfax.  

Leita Brown, Administrative Coordinator

Leita lived in Nevada County for 25 years, raising her two children and working as school secretary at the elementary school that her children attended. She moved to San Anselmo in 1998 to attend college at Sonoma State University, graduating with honors in 2000 with a degree in Environmental Studies, focusing on habitat restoration. Leita then attended Merritt College in Oakland where she obtained a Landscape Design Certificate. She has designed gardens since 2005 using mostly California native plants.  Leita was a garden creator at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show in 2005, winning a bronze medal for garden design. She became a Master Gardener in 2008 and has focused on creating and teaching about habitat gardens. Most recently, Leita has joined the office staff at MAGC in 2012 as an Administrative Coordinator Thursdays through Saturdays.

Donna Redstone, Administrative Coordinator

Joining the staff in 2012, Donna is at MAGC on Wednesdays as the primary contact for membership, social media, outreach communications and the Thursday night concerts. Donna has over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in Medical Marketing. Donna has a degree in Biology & Communication. She enjoys being a Mom to her Kindergartner as well as outdoor activities including hiking, SCUBA diving, rock climbing, and camping.

Natasha Riggins, Administrative Coordinator

Natasha began with MAGC in 2011 as a temp worker and stayed on to become one of the Administrative Coordinators, staffing the desk Mondays through Wednesdays.  She obtained a degree with honors in Art History from the University of New Mexico and has an extensive background working with small businesses and in the arts with administrative duties as well as hands-on creating. Along with her arts interests, Natasha has enjoyed designing and constructing native plant and xeriscape gardens.
