Connections
Most of the groups who reside or meet regularly at MAGC offer classes, lectures, performances and other chances to learn about MAGC's mission areas of horticulture, art, history and the environment. Click here to learn more about these groups.

To view the scheduled activities of these groups, please visit our online interactive calendar.

MAGC is the home of many Horticulture groups such as Marin Rose Society, Marin Bonsai Society, Garden Society of Marin, Marin Garden Club, and Marin Orchid Society. Marin Master Gardeners hold ongoing training and education events at MAGC as well as co-sponsor many of our programs.

MAGC is also the home of two theaters, the Ross Valley Players, the oldest continually operating community theater on the West Coast housed in the historic Barn, and Porchlight Theater Company, an ensemble who performs during the summer at the Redwood Amphitheater. Marin Society of Artists hosts ongoing shows and receptions at their on-site gallery and the Jose Moya del Pino Library/Ross Historical Society offer an extensive collection of books and photographs in the historical Octagon House. Laurel House offers fine antiques and Decorations Guild offers high quality hand-made crafts.

Click on MAGC Happenings for a listing of Center-wide celebrations such as summer concerts and the annual Holiday Festival.
