  • Marin Art & Garden Center accepts both checks and Visa or MasterCard credit cards.

  • You must choose a caterer from our approved list. NO EXCEPTIONS

  • There is the possibility of two events on your day unless you have a buy-out contact. Two events never have the same arrival time. We stagger arrival by 1 ½-hour minimum.

  • Outdoor rehearsals need to be scheduled to confirm the area is available. There is no charge to the renter. Rehearsals are best on Thursday or before the lunch hour.

  • There is no reserved parking spaces allowed. Our main lot has 100 spaces; the art gallery lot has 18 spaces. There is parking on the side street, Laurel Grove and parking within walking distance in the town of Ross.

  • All amplified music must be located indoors. No speakers can be located in windows or doorways.

  • If you rent one site, you have a 5-hour “guests’ time”, two hour set-up and one hour breakdown. If you need an additional hour before your event, the charge is $75.00 an hour. If you need an additional hour (not to exceed 10pm) during your event, the change is $300.00 an hour. You may set-up and use the only areas marked on your contact.

  • All events have house managers. They are not wedding coordinators and will not cue your procession. Ask the office personnel for any suggestions if you need a coordinator.

  • Center staff does not work on the weekends. The house manager arrives shortly before the first arrival (either the client or caterer). Do not assume to have deliveries made on weekends without approval from the rental manager.

  • Both of our rooms have 5-disc CD changers. The Livermore Pavilion also has a microphone for toasting.

  • Any toasting done with amplification outside must last no longer than 20 minutes.

  • You may provide your own beverages and have them delivered anytime during office hours Monday through Friday. Our caterers are not allowed to charge corkage frees.

  • If you are renting the Garden Room, your rainy day plan is either renting a tent (talk to your caterer) or doing a buy-out. There is no guarantee that the Livermore Pavilion will be available to you without renting the facility.
